Two luxury self catering barn conversions based on our small working farm in East Devon.
Our Barns
Our Victorian barn conversions, Tallet and Rack Hays, are available for groups of 6-8 individually or groups of 12-16 as a whole.
The interior design, large windows and underfloor heating were luxurious. We weren’t expecting the farm to be such a hands on experience!
Tallet is just that little bit quirky! Its stylish upside down accommodation is ideally suited to the needs of large family groups who like something a little different in their home away from home.

Rack Hays is the old dairy and cider barn from Victorian times. Thick walls provide a cool and calm home with the rustic fully equipped dining kitchen being a great favourite for family gatherings.

The most beautiful place to stay. Immaculate accommodation, could not find fault with a single thing.
Our Farm
Our farm is home to a variety of traditional farm animals and wildlife and you are welcome to explore it during your stay.
We run the Tuck Mill herd of Ruby Red Devon Cattle, a flock of Lleyn sheep and we shouldn’t forget Gertie the sow, who lives down in the pig paddock with her partner Gary.
Recent arrivals include a pair of pygmy goats, Winnie and Tilly, who are extremely devious escape artists and not to be trusted! We take pride in our livestock having happy, healthy lives.
We are happy for our guests to be as involved as they want to be in our activities, so just let us know if you’d like to collect your own eggs for breakfast or busy yourself in the lambing shed!
The Area
Away from the farm, there are plenty of local attractions to be enjoyed by all ages, including the gorgeous Jurassic coastline a short drive away.
The popular seaside town of Sidmouth is our nearest resort, being under half an hour’s drive away.
East Devon is renowned for its local produce and you won’t be disappointed with the local food, whether you opt for Cream Tea, Fish & Chips, Ice Cream, or all three!
We are also within half an hour of the beautiful and historic cathedral city of Exeter.
There is an excellent shopping centre in the city centre, a huge choice of cafes and eateries, three cinemas, and the Quayside leisure area.
